Our Mission

The Jose Gesavio Castilleja Descendants Non-Profit Organization was created to build on the strengths of our heritage and family by providing the resources and support that encourage healthy extended family relationships. We pledge:

ENCOURAGE: strong nuclear and extended families;
STRENGTHEN: intergenerational family relationships and activities;
INSPIRE & INCREASE: family participation at family events and reunions;
SUPPORT: effective reunion planning and collaboration between NPOs;
SCHOLARSHIPS: Encourage family members to increase our scholarship donations and implement a student scholarship portal;
GRANTS: Apply for grants to assist our family small businesses.
ASSIST OTHER FAMILY NPOs: donate to other family non-profit organizations;
SHARE: family history information and assist non family members in locating family ancestry history;
ADVOCATE for genealogical information, education, and teaching of family history, values, skills and experiences.
